Pre-K’s primary focus is to prepare students for their transition into Kindergarten. They are encouraged to be more independent and self-directed through simple tasks like cleaning up and signing in on the daily sign-in sheet.

Circle time includes pre-academic activities such as:

- Letter/sound of the week (learned aloud and in sign language)
- Math activities like graphing, counting, patterns, and sequencing
- Story time followed by discussion
- Teacher guided science experiments

There is a special emphasis on empathy, since friendships are extremely important for children at this age. This is an area where parent instructors are instrumental in helping parents and students navigate through the joys and complexities of  such friendships.
